Major Duties include but not limited to:
Provides tenants with safe, secure, clean and sustainable facilities. Serves as customer agency advocate and first GSA point of contact.Monitors efficient occupant space utilization, energy and water conservation, sustainability and environmental hazards programs, and fire and security protection.Manages the building operations and maintenance personnel:
monitors and evaluates performance of major building systems including HVAC, electrical, water distribution and fire life safety; adjust performance of systems as necessary to improve building energy and water efficiency and maintain proper indoor air quality,Evaluates building structures, permanent interiors, furniture, equipment, and the maintenance, repair, cleaning of building structures, and permanent interiors elements.Serves as Contracting Officer's Representative:
performs pre-occupancy and transition tasks including reviewing space requests; participating in market surveys and design kickoff/acceptance meetings; prepares lessor transition and customer welcome packages; provides past performance information, performs space condition inspections, key collection, and coordinates overtime utility services and payments.Provides contract administration and lease management services to ensure compliance with the scope, terms, and conditions of the lease.Investigates complaints and interprets lease provisions to ensure equity for the Government and lessor.Explains, promotes and implements GSA property management policies, procedures and methods involving services provided to tenants and lessors, to include:
equipment maintenance, repair and/or replacement, reimbursable services, building repairs and alterations, new or revised space requirements, energy utilization, building sustainability, safety and environmental issues, concessions and other amenities, security, child care facilities and services, overtime utilities and other GSA programs/operations. The GS-09 salary range starts at $60,415.00 per year, if you meet the following qualifications. You must meet all qualification and eligibility requirements within 30 days of the closing date of this announcement.To qualify, you must demonstrate that you meet one of the following:
One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-07 level of the Federal service. Specialized experience assisting in managing office buildings or other office complexes including improving customer and client agency satisfaction with building services; assisting in negotiation of service contracts and lease provisions; assisting in the preparation of service contracts; assisting in development of maintenance programs; monitoring building operations, maintenance, repair, custodial, recycling, environmental management and alterations, etc. to ensure compliance with agency requirements and industry standards; and assisting with inspections of designated space or facilities; OR a master's or equivalent level degree or 2 full years of progressively higher level related graduate education leading to such a degree or an LL.B. or JD. Such education must be related to the position and demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work; OR, a combination of graduate level education and appropriate experience that together meet the qualification requirements of this position. The GS-11 salary range starts at $73,096.00 per year. You must meet all qualification and eligibility requirements within 30 days of the closing date of this announcement. To qualify, you must demonstrate:
One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-09 level in the Federal service. Specialized experience assisting in the management of large office buildings or large office complexes including improving customer and client agency satisfaction with building services; assisting in negotiation of service contracts and lease provisions; preparing service contracts; assisting in development of maintenance programs; evaluating and monitoring building operations, maintenance, repair, custodial, recycling, environmental management and alterations, etc. to ensure compliance with agency requirements and industry standards; assisting with budget formulation and execution; and conducting inspections of designated space or facilities; OR Related Education may be substituted for specialized
Experience:
3 years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to a Ph.D. or a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree. To be qualifying, graduate education must have provided the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position; OR A combination of graduate level education and appropriate experience that together meet the qualification requirements of this position.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
