Surgical Services Nurse Manager

An exciting leadership opportunity is now available with a reputable short term acute care hospital in Southern California for a Surgical Services Nurse Manager.

The Surgical Services Nurse Manager will be responsible for the operations of the Pre-op, Operating Room, Recovery Room PACU and Same-day services. They will work to ensure that policies and procedures are being followed and develop new department goals and objectives.

The Surgical Services Nurse Manager will be in charge of the supervision of employees within the department as well as education and training. They should also provide leadership to nurses within the perioperative service line and uphold the values of the organization as a whole.

Supported by the OR Charge Nurse, the Surgical Services Nurse Manager will report directly to the Director of Perioperative Services and the Administrative Director of Surgical Services. The Surgery Nurse Manager will also collaborate with Board-Certified Surgeons, Anesthesiologists and Technologists alike with the goal of providing the highest quality of care using the latest technological advancements.

This 350+ bed facility offers a range of surgical services to the community it serves. Some of the specialty procedures include: ENT, trauma, orthopedic, gynecological and vascular/ heart procedures. Annual, they perform approximately 10,000 surgeries per year.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
