Job Description:
Provide in-home behavior instruction to individuals with a diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder or related special needs. Improve their quality of life by implementing individualized behavior support plans and appropriate developmental curriculum designed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts or licensed professionals. The primary goal of our services is to help these individuals function more effectively in their everyday lives. Behavior Instructors collect data on the behaviors targeted for change and meet with their supervisor frequently to provide the best quality of services. All new staff participate in extensive training before they are assigned their own cases.
Core Requirements:
1. High school diploma (required)
2. BA/BS (Preferred)
3. Prior experience working with children (desired, but not required)
4. Prior experience working with individuals with special needs (desired but not required)
5. Motivated to learn the theory & application of Applied Behavior Analysis (Required)
6. Bilingual applicants encouraged to apply
7. Additional opportunities are available for individuals who have completed 12 units or more of Child Development coursework
8. IDP (Infant Development Program) experience/certified


Additional Requirements:
1. RBT is a Plus
2. BCAT is a Plus
3. ABAT is a Plus
4. Live Scan fingerprint clearance
5. Valid California Driver License
6. Valid car insurance
7. Good driving record
8. Able to lift 25 lbs.
9. Very receptive to feedback
10. Available to work weekday afternoons and/or evenings for a minimum of 10 hours per week (weekend hours are also available if desired)
11. Committed to helping and making a difference in the lives of others
12. Desire to grow within the field (this position would be a great experience for future Behavior Analysts, Clinical Psychologists, Elementary School Teachers, Marriage and Family Therapists, Occupational Therapists, School Psychologists, Social Workers, Special Education Teachers, Speech-Language Pathologists, and many more)
Educational Incentives:

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
