The County of Los Angeles Department of Public Health is seeking qualified candidates to fill emergency Senior Contract Program Auditor vacancies related to the homelessness crisis.
Under the emergency order, applicants who meet the requirements may be hired for an initial period of up to 90 days, with an opportunity for permanent County employment.
Before the end of your initial work period, you will be assessed on your work performance.
This assessment will be weighted 100%.
Those who successfully pass the assessment will be considered for permanent appointment to Senior Contract Program Auditor.
DEFINITION:
Supervises a staff of Contract Program Auditors engaged in monitoring and evaluating health services provided by private agencies with County contracts.
CLASSIFICATION STANDARDS:
Positions allocable to this class are distinguished by their responsibility for supervising the activities of a team of Contract Program Auditors engaged in monitoring contracting agencies for contract compliance.
In addition, positions in this class may serve as liaison between the County and the agencies providing health services.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
