SOLAR SITE SURVEYOR

We are seeking Solar Site Surveyors to join our growing team of solar professionals for our Socal Projects.
This is a great opportunity for Solar Installers to grow as Site Surveyors.
The right candidate will be trained to conduct site surveys.
Solar Site Surveyors take accurate measurements inside and out of our customer's properties.
Taking pictures of necessary electrical panels, meters, documents, obstructions, and general property.
Installations will be designed based on those measurements.
Job Requirements:
Solar Site Surveyors gather structural details of the home Analyze, prepare, and validate the sites before an inspection is performed Gather electrical information around home from MSP to sub panels Take pictures of job sites Access, assess, photograph, and measure roofs and electrical equipment Review inspection reports and communicate with the Local Management Team Ensure all documents are properly filled out correctly Proactively resolve equipment and system issues to troubleshoot and overcome obstacles on-site during the initial inspection Conduct shading analysis
Qualifications:
1-2 years experience in site surveying/troubleshooting/installation Good customer service skills Ability to measure roof arrays Knowledge with Enphase, Solaredge, and Sunpower monitoring systems Able to complete inspections for solar projects Must have knowledge of the roof details needed to build a solar system Must have knowledge for checking roof quality for a multitude of roof types Background knowledge in solar systems Good understanding of different building and safety jurisdiction requirements for permit submitting OSHA 10 Certified Clean Class C driver license Drone pilot certification a plus Energy storage (Tesla Powerwall 2 certification) experience is a plus.
Physical Demands Capable of carrying 50 lbs.
Able to set up ladder and climb 2 stories Must not be afraid of heights Prior experience preferred Solar panel installation Electrical Roofing construction General construction Site assessment, surveys, audits.
